At Melbourne Tile Tech, we recently carried out a tile restoration project on a heavily soiled slate tiled floor in Craigieburn. Geelong Pool Area

At our recent job in Geelong, we carried out a full tile restoration of a natural stone surface. The scope of work included honing and deep cleaning, followed by the removal of efflorescence buildup. To ensure long-term protection, we applied a specialized treatment to inhibit the reoccurrence of efflorescence and completed the surface with an enhanced penetrating sealer. Bentleigh Backyard Project

In Bentleigh, we carried out a tile restoration on a sandstone tiled area by replacing damaged tiles, thoroughly cleaning the surface, and removing most of the mould. Hawthorn Indoor Project – Stone Surface Restoration

In our recent indoor project in Hawthorn, we professionally cleaned, restore expansion joints and sealed the stone surface using an enhanced penetrating sealer. In this recent poolside project, we carried out a full grout restoration on terracotta-style coping tiles. The process involved re-grouting the joints to restore strength, fill gaps, and improve water resistance. After carefully applying and smoothing the new grout, the area was cleaned and prepped for sealing. Project Koo Vee Rup

At this project in Koo Wee Rup, we carried out a complete tile restoration that involved removing an old vinyl layer that had been installed directly over the original tiled surface. Over time, the vinyl had trapped moisture, dirt, and adhesive residue, leaving the tiles underneath heavily stained and lacking their original character. Our team began by carefully lifting and removing the vinyl without causing any damage to the tiles beneath.

Once the surface was exposed, we moved on to a thorough glue removal process using specialized stripping equipment and industry-grade solutions. This step was essential, as years of adhesive buildup had created a thick, uneven layer that required precision and experience to remove effectively. Through meticulous stripping and surface preparation, we gradually revealed the original tiles that had long been hidden from view.
